25 July 2010: One Community Walk @ Kampong Glam.

An unprecedented nation-wide mass walking event, organised by the People's Association, involved more than 80,000 residents from all the constituencies in Singapore. The largest synchronized mass walking event in Singapore to date, and one of the biggest displays by the community, this event was held in support of the forthcoming inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games.

Kampong Glam is proud to be part of this event, which involved more than 1,000 participants and residents of the constituency. Residents and friends of Kampong Glam came together to have a fun walk on the Sunday, morning, led by our advisor, Ms Denise Phua, to strengthen the "One Community" spirit within Kampong Glam. The support from the residents was fantastic, and everyone seems to have a fun-filled morning work-out.
