On 23rd August, the Telok Ayer Hong Lim Green CC YEC (Youth Executive Committee), in collaboration with the PAYM, organised a National Education trip to the Singapore Discovery Centre for the children from Wesley Youth Centre. This was one of the activities held as part of Kampong Glam Ward's National Day Celebrations.

At the discovery centre, the children learnt more about Singapore's history, present and future through various high-tech multi-media displays. Highlights of the trip included the SO SINGAPORE show featuring a dancing Merlion, and Little George, a robot with a Artificial Intelligence capabilities. The children were also treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch.

It was a good day of fun and laughter. We're definitely looking forward to next year's National Day Festivities.
