18 April 2010: Denise Phua Lay Peng Cup Gateball Invitation Tournament.

Kampong Glam Senior Citizens' Executive Committee and Kampong Glam Constituency Sports Club co-organised the annual Denise Phua Lay Peng Trophy Gateball Tournament. Participants hail from all over Singapore like Bishan, Bukit Panjang, Tampines, Bukit Gombak, Chai Chee and of course Kampong Glam.
It is so heartwarming to see the senior citizens playing the game so enthusiastically. A role model for active aging indeed!
Tampines West took the top place this year; followed by Chai Chee and the 3rd place goes to home team at Kampong Glam.
